[News]: The White House Band's “#Wasup!” Video Gets Banned From MTV; Debut Single Playing on 40 College Radio Stations Nationwide!

The White House Band (@TheWHB) is hitting a major roadblock for the promotion of its newest music video “Wasup!” (Directed by Kristopher Rey Talley). The music video has been

banned from channels within

the MTV networks for its roughness, edginess and the urban terrorism

references stirring up some controversy.

“We were trying to match up the song’s intensity with visuals, but I guess it was too intense for MTV!”, David E Beats, the only official member of The White House Band shared.

Paul Anthony, VFerg and Jamie of New York City's Stereo Crowd appeared on #BodegaRadio (on PNCRadio.fm) this past Friday and discussed the Harlem rooftop jam sessions that inadvertently united the group.

“We would just be on the roof and pretty quickly it got to the point where there would be 100 plus people on the roof and we would just come up with something in the crowd,” says Anthony. “The next day, people would be like, ‘Yo, that song about the skateboard thing, play that again.’”

Stereo Crowd consistently rocks venues throughout the city and recently performed on “All Night With Joey Reynolds” in Time Square. Along with pushing it’s latest project, Stereo Crowd EP, the band also recently signed with Carlin America/Steven Scharf Entertainment in pursuit of licensing opportunities.

I always been into music, i started of doing poetry in grade school, battling rapping in high school, open mics in college,then from there i got into actually creating songs and making music about 3-4years ago. Ive been hooked since. Theres no better feeling than having an idea then heading to the studio and leaving with something better than you expected it to be.
