20 year old Rachel Moore, also known as "Rachel Marie" or "Lil Maria", has been singing almost all her life. She started out singing with her family often at church. Her family has a strong musical background. Rachel grew up in Maryland and parts of DC. She is a graduate of Suitland High School and currently attends Jacksonville University in the fall, majoring in music business. Rachel sings all types of music from gospel and r&b to jazz and classical. Her dream is to receive a Grammy for her songwriting, She wishes for her music to reach radio stations and televisions. She hopes to one day write for her favorite artist, Beyonce Knowles, co-write alongside her favorite writer, Durrell Babbs, and to collaborate with her favorite producer, Ryan Leslie. She has made money by writing songs for people in her hometown, and also by collaborating with other artists on their musical projects. Last August, she released a mix-tape “The Luv Exposure” that gained over 2,500 downloads. 'The Luv Exposure' features artists, producers, and singers from around the country (and beyond) that united to make great music. It is the first of her completed musical projects. The mix-tape is a collection of upbeat and mid-tempo songs that have a commercial feel to them, but includes the musical complexity and artistry that the radio is missing at the moment. It also features a few industry songs that have been remade from a different perspective than the originals. 'The Luv Exposure' was explained as a way for the featured singers, rappers, producers and Rachel to expose the world to our number one love, music.
